Carol Kauffman, MA/CCC-SLP is a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist with over forty years experience. As director of speech and hearing at Madison County Hospital in London, Ohio, she helped implement the Attention, Behavior, Language Evaluation (ABLE) clinic in collaboration with mental health and occupational therapy. She also founded Language Learning Consultants, which provides educational and therapeutic services to all those involved in helping children with neurodevelopmental challenges. For fourteen years, she presented seminars nationwide on the need for integration of educational, speech-language, occupational therapy, medical, and mental health services for children. She has authored several online courses for professionals, as well as articles in numerous publications dealing with topics related to language and learning. Ms. Kauffman received her Master's degree from The Ohio State University, where she was an adjunct faculty member for two years.
