It’s easy to see Justine’s passion and excitement for pediatric speech pathology. Her love for working with the pediatric population began with a background working as a behavioral therapist and infant stimulation therapist with children with a variety of needs. As a speech-language pathologist, Justine evaluates and treats children with a wide range of disorders including: CAS-Childhood Apraxia of speech, Autism, developmental delays, orofacial myology, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, phonological/articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, social pragmatic disorders, brain injury, cognitive-linguistic deficits, feeding aversions, dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) and dysarthria.
Justine believes that therapy should be enjoyable, and a place where development and progress are facilitated through fun, engaging and meaningful learning opportunities. By collaborating with professionals from other disciplines, Justine strives to provide the most comprehensive treatment through a personalized approach. She puts family-centered care at the forefront of her practice, knowing that parent involvement is integral to success in treatment.
