I am a certified speech-language pathologist, certified Barton Reading and Spelling Specialist, owner of VIC Structured Literacy LLC, and passionate parent advocate for evidence-based literacy services.
I specialize in parent consultation, education and training for dyslexia and evidence-based speech, language, reading, writing, and spelling instruction that is needed to change the narrative for our children struggling with access to literacy and currently left behind by educational systems. My mission is to educate and train parents so together we can confidently advocate for correct literacy services for our children and also learn the technical skills needed to deliver the instruction ourselves. As a parent-specialist, my personal and professional experiences and training come together to give you a 360 viewpoint to get your questions answered, end the confusion, and put you and your child on a path to literacy success.
