Dr. Babikian is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 12 years of experience in private practice working with a broad spectrum of children and young adults, and their families. She specializes in the differential diagnosis of learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum and related challenges, giftedness, and emotional and behavioral disorders. Dr. Babikian has a genuine, earnest and practical approach to her assessments that are both comprehensive and holistic in nature. She focuses on providing diagnostic clarification in a manner that will inform intervention planning that is positive and proactive. Her goal is for each family to walk away from an evaluation replacing a series of question marks with a set of clear steps they can take to help their child succeed academically, emotionally and socially.
Dr. Babikian is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is also Associate Director of BrainSPORT at UCLA, an inter-departmental and multi-disciplinary program for identifying and treating brain injuries - including concussions - in youth and professional athletes, where she oversees the Sports Neuropsychology Fellowship training program.
