I have been working in the field of Special Education for over 20 years, serving students and families in a variety of settings. I received a PhD in Special Education in 2016. I have coached parents, consulted in private schools with administrators and teachers, developed and led a special education program at a public LA Charter School, and advocated for students with special needs in IEP meetings. My areas of expertise include behavior intervention, IEP development, interpretation of neuropsychological reports, special education law & advocacy, general and special education teacher support, and parenting guidance. My ability to speak Spanish fluently enables me to connect with Los Angeles’s Latinx population.
